Orbia Hagan Lee born was born on September 11, 1924 in Newberry, Florida. She passed away on April 22, 2023 surrounded by her daughter Jean, grandson Paul D. Zimmerman, his wife Alecia and son in law Rick Jiannuzzi. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years, G.W. Lee, her daughter Jeanelle Lee Quick and a son in law Robert D. Allen. She is survived by her daughters; Orbia “Jean” Lee Allen(St. Louis, MO) and Janet Jiannuzzi, two grandsons; Jonathan L. Jiannuzzi (Jamie) and Paul Daniel Zimmerman (Alecia). Eight great grandchildren; Jonathan Jr., Jordan, Julia, Jenna, June, January Jiannuzzi and Austin R. and Zachary E. Zimmerman. Two son in laws; Gordon D. Quick (Park City, UT) and Rick Jiannuzzi. She was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital Jacksonville Auxiliary for fifteen years and the last surviving employee of Baby-dy-dee Service. She was also an Eastern Star for over fifty years. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11AM in the Glendale Community Church, 6411 Beach Boulevard with Pastor Harvey Hahn officiation. The family will receive friends for a visitation Thursday April 27, 2023 between the hours of 3pm-6pm at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL 32216. In lieu of flowers please donate in her memory to Community Hospice 4266 Sunbeam Road Jacksonville, FL 32257.
