Ollie Ann Ownby, 81 of Sevierville, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024.
She was a member of Walden's Creek Baptist Church. She was retired from the Sevier County School System.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ida Huskey Ownby; sisters, Alene Moore and Ellen Ownby; brothers, Conley, Audley, Eul, S.L., Ray, Jack, and Ellis Ownby; nephews, Danny, Henry, and Kenny Ownby; and niece, Reba Trowbridge.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty K. Ownby; nephews, Allen, David, and Gary Moore, Tommy, Ray, Cecil, and Steven Ownby; nieces, Diane Sweet, Darlene Ownby, Ellen Lamkey, Sharon Holmes, and Susan Woods; and special great-nieces, Caroline and Victoria Lamkey.
The family will receive friends 4-6PM Friday, August 30, 2024, in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. A funeral service will be held 11AM Saturday, August 31, 2024, in the chapel of Walden's Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Ogle and Rev. Chad Teaster officiating. Following the service family and friends will meet in Elkmont (Jake's Creek) Cemetery for a 1PM graveside service and interment. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com.
