Ollie "Billy" Dixon died Sunday, October 8, 2023.
He was born December 13, 1943 in Kent County, Maryland, son of Ollie Harvey and Gaye Lorraine Beamer Dixon. Billy was a retired superintendent for General Motors and was especially proud of the work he did at the Corvette plant in Bowling Green. He was a member of Core Creek Methodist Church in Beaufort, NC.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Nancy Jean Callaghan Dixon; daughters, Summer Dixon Goldman and Lindsey Anne Cain (Benjamin); grandchildren, William Cole and Gavin Dixon Goldman and John Waylon and Wyatt Benjamin Cain; and brother, Lonnie Ray Dixon (Pat).
His memorial service is 3pm Friday, October 13, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road. Visitation with his family is after 1pm until the time of the service.
