Olive Alice Jeanfreau Alexander, resident of Fort Worth, 82, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 28. She was born on February 4, 1939 to the late Lester and Lila Jeanfreau in Houston, Texas. Olive graduated from Corrigan High School, studied at Baylor University, and earned a bachelor degree in mathematics from Brown University. While at Baylor, she married the late Earl Glynn Alexander, to whom she was married for 61 years. Olive was a musician, author, educator and missionary. Her ten grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren called her "Mamita." Olive is survived by her son, Eric Ross Alexander and daughter-in-law Christine Lyons Alexander; six Alexander grandsons; David, Stephen, Robert, Michael, Lee and Andrew, their respective wives, and their children; daughter, Paula Esther Alexander Olson, son-in-law Daniel Warren Olson; three Olson grandsons: Eric, Alexis, and Peter, and one Olson granddaughter, Elizabeth Olson Hames, their respective spouses, and their children. Olive is also survived by two sisters, Susie Jeanfreau Howard and Harriot Jeanfreau LaGrone, and by a beloved sister-in-law, Faye Alexander Matlock. A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, March 13 at All Saints Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Visitation to be held Friday, March 12 from 6-8 pm at the Olson home, 418 College Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76104. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Mission Fund of All Saints Presbyterian Church (4629 Bryce Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76107).
