Born August 26, 1929, she was a child of the Great Depression, whose parents worked in the Tampa cigar industry. She grew up in West Tampa, and was loved by all who knew her. Family and friends enjoyed listening to her tell stories of old West Tampa. She was famous for her Spaghetti Sundays where family, friends, and even the priests from Jesuit, were in attendance. She was everybody's Abuela. She was a kind, loving, compassionate nurturer, and above all else she loved her family. She was an extremely devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
