Ocie Ball

Ocie Webb Ball, age 80 of Ewing, VA, was born January 29, 1942 and passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Gibson Station Primitive Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; John and Cassie Webb, husband; Harry Ball, brothers; Buell Webb, Ben Webb, Olin Webb, sisters; Thursa Mason, Pauline Webb, Freda Windon and Gwendolyn Thompson.

She is survived by her sons; John Ball and wife Esther, Eric Ball and wife Mendy, daughters; Deborah Cole and husband Clifford, Lesia Breininger and husband Victor, grandchildren; Chad Ball, Kendal Daniels, Sarah Blair and husband Eddie, Joshua Ball and wife Emily, Rachel Ball, Corey Baker and wife Kristin, Josiah Ball, Sydney Ball and Londyn Ball, 14 great grandchildren, brother; Wayland Webb, sisters; Zona Barns, Wanda Nichols and Berneda Buell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The family received friends Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 11AM until 1PM with funeral services that followed at 1PM in the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Pastor Chris Hayes, Rev. Stevie Longsworth and Rev. Kenny Goins officiating. Burial followed in the Southern Cemetery. Pallbearers were Josh Ball, Josiah Ball, Chad Ball, Corey Baker, Ryan Baker and Steve Ball.
