Norma Smith, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020.
Norma was born November 16, 1937, a daughter of the late William and Bessie Harrison. She graduated from Newport High School in 1955. She was club manager of Zionsville American Legion, retiring after 37 years of service. She was loved and respected by many people, not only as a manager, but also as a friend. She loved to play bingo and euchre; and was an active member of Zionsville Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda (David) Stone, grandchildren: Heather Stone and Brandon (Ashley) Stone; great-grandchildren: Landon, Caylub and Addilyn, brother: John Harrison. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings and a son, Carl Strain.
Friends and family will gather Friday, March 20, 2020 for visitation from 10am until time of the funeral services at 12pm at Zionsville Christian Church, 120 N. 9th St, Zionsville, IN 46077. Burial will immediately follow the service at Zionsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Zionsville American Legion Post #79, 9950 E. 600 S. Zionsville, IN 46077.
