Norma Jean Majors, age 94, of Maryville, TN formerly of Knoxville, TN gained her angel wings and joined her Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Norma was born February 13, 1928. She was a strong believer. Norma Jean was a woman whose faith was never shaken and in constant prayer through the ups and downs of life. She never failed to thank God for His many blessings. Norma Jean retired from Baptist Hospital and in retirement, worked at Hancock Fabrics for as long as she could. Her favorite hobbies included sewing, quilting and working with her hands. In her younger years, she enjoyed gardening and canning. Norma Jean's greatest joy was her family. She also loved spending time with her sister, Pat, whenever possible. They loved their talks about life.
She was preceded in death by loving husband of 54 years, Paul D. Majors; son, Gary Alan Majors; daughter, Paula Jean Majors; mother, Myrtle Woolum Sellers; father, Elwood (Blonnie) Sellers.
Norma Jean is survived by daughters, Pamela (Ron) Dunn and Connie Sisk; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister, Pat Robinson.
A private graveside service will be held at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Mr. Philip Farris officiating.
