Norma L. Garcia, 82, of Kingsville, TX passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on March 21, 2021. She was born on August 14, 1938 in Benavides, TX to Francisco Jr. and Josefina Lozano. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church. Norma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love, her caring heart, and her need to always bless us on our foreheads before traveling. She loved intimate family gatherings and vacationing. She is preceded in death by her son, Joel Tiburcio Garcia; one sister, Noelia L. Rodriguez; and one brother, Arnoldo "Billy" Lozano. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Deacon Butcho Garcia of Kingsville; two sons, Roel T. (Jesus) Garcia-Rangel of San Antonio, TX, and Noel T. (Karri) Garcia of San Antonio, TX; one daughter, Zaida Castillo of San Antonio, TX; three sisters, Sylvia (Gonzalo?) Trevino of Alice, TX, Frances (Raymond?) Morantes of San Antonio, TX, Grace (Sid) Sanchez of Walnut, California; one brother, Francisco III (Linda) Lozano of Niceville, Florida; five grandchildren, Joshua Garcia, Gregory Castillo, John Castillo, Andres Castillo, and Antonio Castillo; four great-grandchildren, Caleb Garcia, Micah Garcia, Talitha Garcia and Liam Castillo. A Rosary will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating. A private burial will follow in Alice Cemetery.
