Norah Pifer, age 82, of Hampton, Tennessee passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 at her residence. Norah was born in Londonderry, Ireland to the late Stephen and Mary Mertland Simpson. In addition to her parents, Norah was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Pifer; and three brothers, Jon Simpson, Billy Simpson and Robert “Bob” Simpson.
Norah had worked as a secretary in London, England.
Those left to cherish her memory include her twin brother, Donald Simpson of Bangor, Northern Ireland; her nieces and nephews, Donagh Simpson, Steven Simpson and Ann Simpson; her caregivers, Amy Church and Erin Church; her special friend, Pat Miller of Chuckey, TN; her Red Hat family and several additional nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday, July 24, 2022 in the Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton.
