Nora Allison

Nora Lee Baucom Allison, 88, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2023. Born and raised in Union County, Nora recently relocated to Myrtle Beach to be with her family. She loved flowers and spending time in her garden.

Nora is predeceased by her loving husband, Leonard Allison and siblings, Carl Baucom, Winford Baucom, Boyce Baucom, Leonard Baucom, Bruce Baucom, F.L. Baucom, Frances Clontz, Via Baucom, O.J. Baucom, Grovene Gossert, Oren Baucom and Mabel Baucom. She is survived by her son, Craig Allison, daughter, Pam Allison; grandchildren, Brandon Rushing and his wife Meagan, Garrett Allison and Ryan Rushing; great- grandchildren, Marley Rushing, Nora Rushing and Ellie Rushing; brother, Hoyte Baucom as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family received friends on Tuesday, April 4 at Union Grove Primitive Baptist Church, 3619 Morgan Mill Road, Monroe from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon followed by the funeral service at noon with private burial at Poplar Tent Cemetery in Concord.McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the Allison family.
