Nome Stickivan passed away on December 23 at Providence Alaska Medical Center at the age of 87.
I want to say Nome had a happy life he believed in the Lord and had strong faith, Every person he has met was uplifted with his testimony, he shared a Bible scripture and he had many people come to him say they got saved because of his witness. He smiled and was always happy to meet everyone. He had a great love for his Guitar named her Lucy. he always said I've lived a good life, A long life, One of the highlights of his life was playing music at the Native musical with his first wife Lorette they played there for 31 years and made many memories. He always talked about working but his favorite job he talked about most was working on the railroad and sharing his stories, he loved to travel, especially within Alaska.
22 years ago he met his second wife and her daughter Jennifer, he called it a second chance at life, they spend many years traveling for his music and just because, he loved his family and was very happy to have grand boys, Marshall and ryker. He told him his stories of working and playing guitar. And showed them the true artist he was. He loved many things and but he loved his family and spending time with them. His daughter liked to cook for him and he was grateful cause he also had a love for good food! His past times would be having family time and good food.
He is survived by his wife Sharon and step daughter Jennifer, and two grand boys Marshall and Ryker. And many cousins.
