Noel Joseph Hutcheson, Sr.
May 24, 1936 - April 21, 2022
Noel Joseph Hutcheson, Sr., joined his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 21 after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his family. Noel was born on May 24, 1936 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents, Christine Holt and Joseph Johnson Hutcheson, while his father was playing professional baseball. The family moved to their ranch in Argyle, Texas where Noel graduated from Denton High School, and The University of North Texas in 1957, and on to graduate work at UT Austin. Noel moved to Dallas to begin his career as a stock broker, retiring from Southwest Securities in 1995. He met the love of his life and his treasure, SMU graduate, Alice Ann Jones, They wed in 1964. Together, they raised their 3 children at their home in Dallas. Noel loved the outdoors and especially hunting and fishing at the Coon Creek Club. Noel was a strong believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. His favorite book of the Bible was Proverbs as he looked to it constantly for wisdom and guidance. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Alice Ann Hutcheson; his children, Yvonne Hutcheson Jones (Matt), grandsons John Hampton, Justin and Bryson Hughes, and great-grandson, John Law Hughes; Carolyn Hutcheson Dent (Hayes) and grandchildren, Hayes III, Margaret and Kinkead Dent; Noel Joseph Hutcheson, Jr. (Susan) and grandchildren, Ashley, Page and Noel III "Hutch". He also survived by his sister, Josephine Hutcheson Coursey; nephew, John Coursey; and many cousins and friends.
