Yoder, Noah Ernest, 93, Davidsville, went peacefully to be with the Lord November 20, 2020 at Laurel View Village, Davidsville, PA. Born June 27, 1927, Woodstown, PA, son of Ammon and Elda (Kauffman) Yoder. He married Elma Mae Hershberger on October 26, 1949. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Joyce, and infant daughter Connie Faye, siblings Twila Thomas and Paul Yoder. Survived by these children: Richard (Diane), Boswell; Diana (Kenny) Staton, Culpepper, VA; Cynthia (Brian) Litwiller, Hopedale, IL; Ronald (Susan), Davidsville; Gloria (Craig) Kleman, Middletown, VA; Darlene (Rodney) Lough, Windber; and Marie (William) Kisiel, Windber; grandchildren: Reubon and Aaron Yoder, and Katie Thomas; Darci Lesure and Daphne Pribble; Marci Waters, Benjamin, Rosie and Noah Litwiller; Kayla Barrick and Kelly Yoder; Malinda Greene and Nicole Cookus; Douglas Lough; Amanda Custer and Steven Kisiel; and 24 great-grandchildren. Also survived by siblings Dorothy Shetler, Bernice Alwine, Emma Mae Alwine, Marlin (Doris), Erma Kaufman, Merle (Janet), sister-in-law Esther Yoder, and numerous nieces and nephews. Noah was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was owner of Noah Yoder & Sons & Grandsons Masonry Contractors for 50 years. Member of Living Hope Community Church, Hopedale, IL, and former member of Seanor Mennonite Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent for 45 years. He blessed his children, grandchildren, and nephews with teaching them the art of trapping, hunting, and fishing, his lifelong passions. Everyone enjoyed his stories of days gone by. Family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Laurel View Village for their help and kindness. Memorial contributions may be made to either Johnstown Christian School or Laurel View Village. A private family graveside service will be held at Blough Mennonite Church officiated by Pastor Wesley Yoder. A public memorial service will be held at a future date.
