Nina Louise Hughes, 93, of Rossville went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Saturday, April 20th, 2024. Nina was born October 29, 1930 on Sand Mountain, Al to the late Thomas Arnold Stallings and Gazzie Lea Stallings. Nina was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area. She was saved at Mount Olive Church of Rossville. She was a proud charter member of Bible Baptist Church. She retired from Standard Coosa Thatcher/ Coats America where she worked for many years as a yarn tester. Nina was a devoted church member until the day of her passing.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband William R. Hughes; daughter, Renva L. Hughes; siblings, Edith Biddle, Travis Stallings, Battie Coleman and Winola Roden.
Survivors include her son, William Lamar Hughes; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Sabrina) Hughes and Kristy (Alonzo) Mancilla, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
