born November 29, 1977, passed away in Brownsville TX on January 25, 2025.
Our angel, Nicole gave of her whole self to those fortunate enough to call her daughter, sister, aunt and great-aunt, sister-in -law, friend and dog mum. She gave us all her full heart without condition, without judgement, and brought cheer and comfort to everyone she met.
We admire Nicole's selfless example of always showing up for people?she celebrated all milestones, achievements, graduation, weddings, baptisms and family births. She would never miss a moment or beat when it came to celebrating and serving others. For some of us, she was also a shoulder to cry on, a person to confide in, and went to the end of the world to serve others even if it meant sacrificing her own wants and needs in that moment.
She loved family time especially at weekend bar-b-q's, cracking cascarones on our heads at Easter time, river tubing in New Braunfels every summer, capturing photographs of her blooming hibiscus and watching her nieces and nephews grow into adults as they started their own families. Never married, she treated her nieces and nephews as her babies........but we all know her real babies were her beloved dogs. We know she was greeted with wonderful wet kisses.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Terence Langan and Marlene Langan along with her sister, Gemma Langan.
She is survived by her sisters Micki (Luis) Buenrostro, Karen Alvarez, and Tina Mitchell; her nieces Alana Buenrostro Valiente and Erika Eide and nephews Ian Buenrostro, David Blake Alvarez and Hunter Mitchell; her great nephews, Dylan Eide and Ian Eduardo Buenrostro and great niece Elizabeth Eide.
The family will have a private service. To honor her legacy, please visit an animal shelter and provide comfort to those less fortunate or plant a hibiscus to enjoy the blooms.
