Nico DeAndre Anderson was born on August 27, 2005 to Justin and Amenio Anderson in Asheville, North Carolina.
Nico was a rising senior at TC Roberson High School. At an early age, his inquisitive skills and intelligence was noticed. His elementary teachers stated that he was extremely bright and the curriculum did not support his high level of intelligence to challenge him. He truly enjoyed serving others at Culver’s which was his first job. His Culver’s family helped him develop strong work ethics which allowed him to quickly rise through the ranks from crew member to team trainer.
Nico had an infectious smile, a silly way of making you laugh and was always dancing. He collected Air Jordan’s and always kept a fresh pair to match his Fashion Nova or Hollister outfits. Like most teenagers, Nico spent time playing video games. He loved spending time with family, friends, and especially his siblings. Nico touched the lives of so many people.
On Friday, July 15, 2022 in Green Mountain, North Carolina, Nico Anderson gained his heavenly wings and went to be with our Heavenly Father at the young age of 16.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wesley Harper.
Nico leaves to cherish his loving memories, parents, Justin and Amenio Anderson; siblings, Cierra, Jaxen, Joanna, Nickaylia, and baby Kai; paternal grandparents, Paul and Gloria Anderson of Washington State; maternal grandmother, Michelle Harper of Arden, NC; aunts, Nicole Anderson (Brian George) of Washington State; Jakia Stewart of Charlotte, NC; Morgan (Austin) Barker of Washington State; uncles, Isaiah Harper of Asheville, NC, Arsi Thomas (Ashley) Roberson Jr. of Clinton SC, Connor Anderson of Washington State; and a host of cousins.
Nico cherished the “cousin group”, his PlayStation buddies, and most of all, Andrew.
Public viewing will be from 1:00-6:00pm Friday, July 22, 2022 in the chapel of Ray Funeral & Cremation Service. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
