
Neal C Lewis
"A place for everything, and everything in its place"
Neal C Lewis, age 77, moved on to his next calling on Sun., July 13th, 2014 in Provo, UT. Born June 6th, 1937 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Claude and Luella Cook Lewis. He was sealed to his high school sweetheart, Kay Francis Reading, on August 3rd, 1956 in the Idaho Falls, Idaho LDS Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Kay, four daughters and three sons: Pamela (Lance) Standifird, Patrice (Ron) Fletcher, Shari (David) Barber, Bradley (Laura), Craig (Janet), Darin (Aimee), Sheila (Blake) Scarbrough, and 34 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, who were his pride and joy.
He is also survived by five sisters and one brother: Claudean Garner, Rex Lewis, Wynette Searle, Renae Lewis, Marie Alleman, and Deborah Smart.
Neal's priorities were his family and his faith. He served most recently as the Patriarch of the Spanish Fork, Utah South Stake, and had also served as President of the Illinois Nauvoo Mission and President of the St. Louis, Missouri Temple. He had a successful 40-year career at Ralston Purina Company in St. Louis, Missouri, where he served in various management positions and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
A viewing will be held at Walker Funeral Home (187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah) from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 17th. Funeral services will be held at the Spanish Fork South Stake Center (870 East Canyon Road, Spanish Fork, Utah) at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 18th. A viewing will be held there prior to the service from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment will be held in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
