Natalie Victoria (Heinz) Scruggs, loving mother, daughter, and sister, passed away at the age of 33 in Leesburg, VA on Monday 25, 2022. Natalie was born January 18, 1989 in Adrian, Michigan. She moved as a young child to Florida where she lived until early adulthood. After living for a brief time in South Carolina, she eventually settled in Leesburg, VA with her two beautiful children, Jonah and Marlie. Natalie obtained her Associate of Arts degree and was working towards her bachelors degree. She was a valued member of the Mission Cloud team working as an Accounts Payable Specialist. Natalie also was an accomplished photographer. She was known for a unique sense of humor and a remarkably blunt delivery. She was passionate about her children, family, and her work. She was well loved, a devoted and faithful friend. Natalie was known for her love of tacos, UFO's, funny memes, chapstick, the Yeah-Yeah-Yeah's, and her cool style. She also loved reading, true-crime podcasts, music, live concerts, and traveling to kitschy tourist traps. She is loved and survived by her son, Jonah Philip Carothers, and daughter, Marlana June Carothers. Parents, Philip and Monaca (Judson) Heinz of Leesburg, VA. Sister, Samantha (Kate) Heinz of McCalla, AL. Sister Whitney Thomas (Todd) of Merritt Island, FL. Nieces Eva Heinz, Charlotte Thomas, Eliza Thomas, and Violet Heinz. Also, step Grandmother Julie Judson, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also leaves behind her significant other, Eric Roseberry. Additionally, the father of her children, William Carothers. Last but certainly not least, her precious dog, baby Floyd, and "Jer-Jer", Jerald the cat. Natalie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents - Sylvia (Barrow) Bosak; Fred W. Judson, and paternal grandparents - Wanda (Cibor) Heinz; Joseph Heinz; Step Grandmother Mertle Heinz. Cousin Anthony Erb. Services for Natalie will be held on Tuesday May 3rd at 11am at Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, VA.
