Natalie A. (Patten) Duford, 84, of Pleasant Street, died Friday, June 4, 2021.
She was born in Newport, NH on July 7, 1936 the daughter of Loren and Jennie (Currier) Patten.
Natalie spent her early years in Springfield before moving to New London where she lived most of her life. She lived in WY and MT for a brief time. Many and varied interests led her to candling eggs, owning and operating a laundromat on King Hill Road in New London, being a ski instructor at King Ridge, catering and providing in home care. She loved the outdoors, nature and feeding the birds. Years ago she liked to hunt and fish and any chance she could get she liked to sit at Keyser Lake and walk in the woods at Wadleigh State Park.
She is predeceased by her husband, Alfred "Fred" Duford, her son, Michael, her daughter, Jill Barton, her parents, her brother, Steven Patten, and two sisters, Shirley Lary and Diane Charles. She is survived by a daughter, Sue E. Cote and her husband, Michael of Grantham, NH; four grandchildren, Amy Cote Benton and her husband, Joe; Anthony Cote and his wife, Erin; Sarah Duford and Michael Duford; five great grandchildren, Alex Benton, Jackson Cote, Ayden Duford, Ethan and Andrew Houde; a sister, Lorene "Tink" Osgood and her husband, Robert of Grantham, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in Pleasant View Cemetery, Springfield, NH with a gathering to follow at Springfield Town Hall.
