Margaret "Maggie" Ann Jeswald, 77, of Loudon, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024, with family by her side.
Maggie was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on July 31, 1946, to the late Samuel and Anna (Catazone) Profeta, and grew up in the town of Brookline. She attended Elizabeth Seton High School and Duff's Business Institute of Pittsburgh, where she then began her career at stock brokerage firm, Babbitt, Meyers & Waddell. Maggie also had a strong love for animals where she later worked as a Veterinary Technician for many years.
She was happily married to her best friend, Jim, for over 53 years. After retirement, they moved to Tellico Village, Tennessee, in 2010, where they enjoyed boating, bowling, traveling, and many other volunteer groups. They are both members of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Maggie also enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.
Maggie is survived by her loving husband, Jim; her daughter, Samantha (Dan) Higgs; her grandchildren, Avery and Aiden Higgs; and many dear cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Lenoir City, TN, on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10 - 11 a.m.
A Celebration of Life will be held this Summer in Pittsburgh, PA.
