Naoma Eunice Leatherman Patterson
Naoma "Pat" was a mom, grandma, aunt, sister, daughter and friend. She was proud of her Indian heritage and loved her family.
She was born Naoma Eunice Leatherman on September 27, 1923 in Rattan, OK to Saul Wesley Leatherman and Malinda Avi Barnes. She had lived in Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona and since 1941 in California, from Sacramento to the bay area to southern California. She married "John" Shannon Patterson on September 11, 1941 in Kingsburg, California. They had 5 sons and 1 daughter together - John Jr, Fred, Tom, Bill, Bob and Tammy. John went home to be with the Lord on June 16, 1964 in Los Gatos, California. Pat went home on February 15, 2003 in Citrus Heights, California. She was survived by 3 sons and 1 daughter - Fred (Gloria), Bill (Marsha), Bob (Carolyn) and Tammy. She was also survived by her brother Alex Bramlett and sister Audrey Bramlett Stewart, 18 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
