Nancy Irene Thomas, age 89 of Monroe, died Monday, June 6, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. Thomas and son, Kenny Thomas. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Judy and Terry Cowan, Elaine Thomas; grandchildren, Michelle and Sherman Reynolds, Suzanne and Kelly Pugh, Bobby Thomas, Brent and Britin Thomas; 6 great-grandchildren; special nephews, Brandon Irwin and Bryan Irwin and their families. Mrs. Thomas loved her church family at Haven Fellowship, her family and friends, especially Mildred Mixon. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Ernie Forrester and Josh Gribble officiating; interment will follow at 12:45 p.m. at East View Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
