Nancy J. (Ladue) Linney, 88, of Keene, NH passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2024, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital in Lebanon after suffering a fall at home.
She was born November 1, 1936, in Plattsburgh, NY, daughter of Frances and Hannah (Ryan) Ladue, and raised in Chazy, NY. Nancy was valedictorian of her Chazy Central Rural School and graduated from State University of New York Teachers College at Plattsburgh.
She married William (Bill) J. Linney on August 22, 1959. In addition to teaching first and second grades, she worked at CVS, Mastronardi Chiropractic, Kapiloff Insurance Agency, and Anderson & Gilbert, all in Keene NH.
Nancy was an avid knitter, sewist, crossword enthusiast, Jeopardy fan, and reader, passing her love of books to her children. She loved the chaos of family get-togethers. Nancy's Catholic faith was very important to her; she was an active member of the Parish of the Holy Spirit in Keene, and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality.

She was predeceased by her parents, brother Joe Ladue (wife Anita) of Highland NY, and sister Kathryn Baughn (husband Wes) of Peru NY.
