Memorial service is on Saturday Nancy Kohlenberger, 61, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2020 at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains after a battle with Breast Cancer. Born in Plainfield, Nancy lived in Scotch Plains prior to moving to Cranford 16 years ago. Nancy was a graduate of the University of Delaware, with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She had worked for Major Mills in Clark for over 25 years and as a salesperson with Schwartz Design Showroom in Metuchen. Nancy was a very active member of Fanwood Presbyterian Church, where she served as an Elder, was a member of the choir, and was the chairperson of the Worship and Music committee. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Nancy Kohlenberger, and by her sister, Jane. She is survived by her siblings; Randy Kohlenberger (Jil), Diana Shoback (Joe), Sue Kelly (Denis), and Lynn Mittelstaedt (Ronald); and her nieces and nephews, Dr. Brent Mittelstaedt (Tammy), Amy Thibodeau (Tom), Brendan Kelly (Conchita), and Danielle and Kim Shoback. A memorial service will be held at Fanwood Presbyterian Church, Martine Ave., Fanwood, on Saturday, May 21, at 1 PM. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home in Fanwood.
