Jeter Memorial Funeral Home
Nancy Jane Green passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 80. She was born on July 14, 1942 in Cameron, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ladis Zavrel and Ella Feussel Champagne. She is survived by her daughters Kathleen Green and Jennifer Green; son Everett Green and his wife Jenny Green; grandchildren Eli Green, Wyatt Green, Calliope Green and Gideon Green; and sister Patricia Fuchs.
Nancy's greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. After raising her three children she worked as a Deputy Clerk for Harris County Tax Office. In retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and visiting with her many friends. She visited Galveston often and took many classes and trips with several Senior Programs in the Houston/Galveston area.
A Catholic Rosary will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023, starting at 6:00 P.M., followed by visitation from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Mary Queen Catholic Church, 606 Cedarwood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546, with Rev. James H. Kuczynski, M.S. officiating. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at St Monica Catholic Church Cemetery, 306 S. Nolan, Cameron, Texas 76520.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to MD Anderson Cancer Center at www.mdanderson.org or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
