Nancy Anne Donaldson

Nancy Anne Donaldson, nee Darr, left this world too soon on October 30, 2022. Nancy was 66 years old. Born in Hialeah, Florida, to William H. and Susan M. Darr on January 24, 1956. Her maternal grandparents immigrated to the United States from Serbia, and she was very proud of her Serbian heritage. Nancy graduated from Herndon High School and went on to attend Radford College. She spent time in Richmond before eventually moving to Reston where she met and married her husband, Robert Bruce Donaldson, Jr. They were married for 36 years. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. Nancy loved going to the Outer Banks, music, gardening, genealogy, history, shopping and watching a good movie. Although she suffered from Rheumatoid and Psoriatic Arthritis, she still strived to live her best life.

She is survived by her husband Bruce, son Rob and her beloved grandson August. She is also survived by her sister Kathy Darr, her brother William R. Darr, many nephews, nieces and grandnieces. The family will release information about a memorial service in the near future.
