LYONS - Nancy A. DeLork, 84, passed away on May 27, 2022, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y., after sustaining life-threatening injuries associated with a motor vehicle accident that occurred on May, 20, 2022.Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Monday (June 6) at St. Michael's Church in Lyons, N.Y. A reception to honor her life will be held immediately following the service. Burial will be in the South Lyons Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Church, 3 Holley St., Lyons, NY 14489.Nancy was born on March 12, 1938, in Lyons, N.Y., a daughter of Dominic and Helen DiSanto Tobacco. She was orphaned at 3 years old, so she was raised by her paternal Grandmother Tobacco, surrounded by her maternal Grandparents DiSanto's of Clyde N.Y., including her close aunts and uncles of the DiSanto family.She was a lifelong resident of Lyons and a communicant of St. Michael's Church. She worked at Sarah Coventry in Newark, N.Y., until they closed. She enjoyed a second career at the Newark Wayne County Nursing, home until her retirement. She kept busy her entire life by knitting, baking, cooking and maintaining family traditions.She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Anthony S. DeLork of Lyons; grandson, Anthony J DeLork and his wife Allie of Webster, N.Y.; daugher-in-law, Wendy DeLork of Lyons; nephews, Daniel Kovacs, of San Jose, Calif. and Santo DeLork of Lyons, N.Y.; niece, Valerie Rosato and her family of New Hartford, N.Y.; brother-in-law, Laszlo Kovacs, of The Villages, Fla.; sister-in-law, Fran DeLork of Lyons; many DiSanto family cousins; special friends, Linda Busco of Lyons and Gretel and Ed Duffy and their four sons of Tully, N.Y.; and countless others who's life she touched in the local community.She was predeceased by her only son, Anthony J. DeLork; sister, Mary (Connie) Kovacs; mother-in-law, Maggie DeLork; and brother-in-law, Michael DeLork, all from Lyons.Arrangements by the Boeheim-Pusateri Funeral Home, Lyons.
