Myrtle Lollis Alewine, 94, she was the widow of the late Russell Alewine, of Simpsonville died September 5, 2022, at her residence.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Ben C. and Mae Dell Harvell Lollis. She worked in textiles and owned her own beauty salon. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church.
She is survived by 2 sons Tommy (Gail) Alewine of Anderson, Bill (Carol) Alewine of Greenville; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Graveside services will be Friday 11:00 AM and family will receive friends following service.
in Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wren Hospice Care.
The family would like to give special thanks to staff of the Springs of Simpsonville and Wren Hospice for their care.
