Graveside service with full military honors for MSG (Retired) Pedro A. Feliciano will be held at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.
Memorial service will follow at 10:30 A.M. in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will greet friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
MSG (Retired) Pedro A. Feliciano died Tuesday, November 8, 2022 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 96. He was born to Antonio and Georgina Feliciano in Yauco, Puerto Rico on March 14, 1926. Pedro lived in Puerto Rico until the age of 17, when he enlisted in the United States Army during WWII.
Pedro met Isabel Oliva, the love of his life, in Panama. They were married on August 6, 1955, on Fort Davis in the Panama Canal Zone and loved each other dearly for over 67 years.
Pedro served his country in the US Army with multiple assignments and retired in January of 1974. He was a World War II, Vietnam War, and Korean War veteran and was the recipient of numerous awards and commendations. Pedro earned a Bronze Star for Meritorious Achievement in Vietnam. Pedro and Isabel made their home in Lawton. The Army afforded Pedro the opportunity to attend Cameron University in Lawton, OK to earn an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice.
Pedro and Isabel have four children, Isabel Feliciano Papadopoulos, Pedro Feliciano, Jr., Jose Feliciano, and Carlos Feliciano. He loved being Lali and Papa/Grandpa Papi to Panos, Alex, Michael, David, Jason, Christina, Pedrito, Abbie, Ella and Olivia.
Pedro loved to drive and see all the grandkids and loved spending time with all of them. He also liked to visit the casinos, watching the Texas Rangers and the Oklahoma Sooners. He was an avid boater and loved to camp at Oklahoma lakes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro & Georgina Feliciano and daughter, Isabel Feliciano Papadopoulos.
Survivors include his wife, Isabel of the home; son, Pedro Feliciano, Jr. and wife Angela, Texas; Jose Feliciano and wife Karen, Florida; Carlos Feliciano and wife Ashley, Oklahoma, grandchildren Panos & Alex Papadopoulos; Christina Franklin & Pedro Feliciano III; Michael, David & Jason Feliciano; Abbie, Ella & Olivia Feliciano; great grandchildren Riley, Jace, Christian, and Braeden.
