Velma (Dink) Looney of Aiken, SC, passed away on May 14, 2024. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert B. Looney, in 1993 and her second husband, LS McCormick, in 2007.
She is survived by her two children, Bruce (Dale) Looney of Lexington, SC, and Cindy (Vince) Smith of Aiken, SC. She also has six grandchildren: Chad (Meredith) Smith, Bryan (Taylor) Smith, Bobby (Savannah) Smith, Elizabeth (Michael) Fox, Rebecca (Casey) Samuelson, and Emily (Ruskin) Foster. She has five great-grandchildren and three stepchildren: Steve McCormick (Molly), David (Lanch) McCormick, and Angie McCormick.
She was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church for many years and, with her husband LS McCormick, was also a member of St. John's Methodist Church and Fellowship Class for several years.
In accordance with her wishes, no public service will be held.
