Mr. Glennford Wayne Fowler, 82, beloved husband of Mrs. Bonnie Arey, entered into rest on Saturday, January 1, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents Glennford Hugh and Ora Marie Kiker Fowler, his brother, J.M. Fowler, and a sister, MayGene Flatt.
A Celebration of Life service was at 3 o'clock Friday, January 7, 2022, at Cedar Creek Church West with Pastor Wes Holbrook, Pastor Tim Smart, and Mr. Mark Melton officiating. The family plans to have a service in Texas at a later date.
Mr. Fowler was born in Floydada, Texas. He retired from the U.S.D.A's National Resources Conservation Service with forty-eight years of service. Wayne was a dedicated member of Cedar Creek Church West. He was a talented woodworker, building both full-size and doll furniture and a gardener with a green thumb.
Left to cherish his memory with his wife Bonnie are four children: Marty Hughes, of Texas, Donna Fleming, of Nebraska, Karen Yarbrough, of Texas, and Melissa Butler, of Tennessee; a sister, Loretta Henderson, of Oklahoma and nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
