Monna Kay Mullins, 86, of Amarillo passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021. Services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Kornerstone Chapel with Clay Lewis officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 P.M. (Mountain Time) Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Quay Cemetery in Tucumcari, NM under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.
Monna was born on May 21, 1934 in Swink, Oklahoma to Luther and Myrtle White. She was 16 years old when she met Ross D. Mullins, they were married on March 29, 1951 in Tucumcari, NM., and was married for 62 years. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing, dance, cook and was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan. She was a lady Elk and proud to be part of the best people on earth. She found her passion as a travel Agent working her way up to owning her own Travel agency in Truth or Consequences, NM. She enjoyed attending the Cowboy Church and fellowshipping with friends at The Craig Senior Living Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers, D.L. White and Dean White; sister, Evelyn Whigham.
She was a loving and proud mother of her daughter, Jodi Tone of Plainview; her sons, Bobby R. Mullins of Camarillo, CA, Freddie W. Mullins of Dallas, Ricky D. Mullins of Woolwich, ME; thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was greatly loved and respected by all who knew her.
