She loved life and fought this battle with courage, wisdom, and enormous faith in the Lord. Monica enjoyed many activities such as gardening and birdwatching. She especially enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, cardinals, and blue jays. Monica loved listening to country music and attending various concerts with her friends and family. Her love of Neil Diamond's music came from her father. She was a member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church of Junction City, Ohio. Jenessa was her pride and joy. Jenessa was one of the many reasons why Monica fought her battle with cancer. Monica is survived by her mother Cathy Dickson; precious daughter Jenessa Rae; sister Melissa Dickson and nephews Conner, Ethan, and Keaton Spicer; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
