Molly was born on June 12, 2018 in Charleston, SC to Thad Marc Micalizzi and Victoria Altine Micalizzi. Though she was born at 28 weeks and weighed merely 2 lbs 1 oz, she was a spitfire from day one. The odds may have been stacked against her, but as everyone who knows her could tell you, she was never one to follow rules. She not only caught up to the children her age but outpaced them within a short time. As soon as she was able to talk, it became clear that Molly was a natural-born leader who was never afraid to speak her mind. Molly's laughter and light filled everyone she came into contact with, and she was quick to tell anyone and everyone how much she loved them. Among the many beautiful qualities that Molly embodied, this is the lasting impression she will leave on all of us. Her massive personality packed into a tiny body carved a spot in all of our hearts that are left feeling empty without her. Molly's memory will never fade; she will always be our rainbow after the storm.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her uncles, Tristin Altine and Cooper Micalizzi; her aunt, Ashten Altine; her grandparents, Buster and Tricia Altine and Marc and Dawn Micalizzi; her great-grandparents, Janice Gleaton, Kathy Micalizzi, Buddy and Jackie Craddock, Sigrid Altine, E.L. Bishop Sr.; and her great-great grandmother Lorine Craddock; as well as the rest of Molly's very large extended family. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Beverly Gleaton Jr., Frank Micalizzi, Homer Buster Altine, and Charlotte Jane Bishop.
