Mitchell "Mitch" Wardell Williams, 51, a resident of Humble, TX, passed away, May 6, 2021. He was born in Jackson, MS on March 5, 1970, to A.C. Williams and Essie Williams Thorton. Mitch attended Ashford University and received a Master of Business Administration.
Mitch spent his career with Chevron moving his way through the company and ending as the Lead IT Auditor. In his spare time, he gave back to the community by volunteering at various sickle cell anemia events and the Boys and Girls Club.
Mitch was preceded in death by his father A.C. Williams; two sisters: Ella Louise King and Linda Williams; and one brother: Alton Williams.
He is survived by his loving fianc? Gwendolyn Ellis-Wilson of Chesapeake, VA; two children: Andrew Williams (Courtney) and Mitchell Williams Jr (Raeven) of Ocean Springs, MS; three grandchildren: Jayden Williams, Jada Williams, and Exavier Wiggins; mother: Essie Thorton of Ridgeland, MS; six brothers: Fredie Williams (Julie) of Lavon, TX; John Williams (Linda) and Charles Williams (Denise) both of Jackson, MS; Jimmy Williams (Edna) of Dublin, GA; James Williams (Pam) of Columbus, GA; Albert Williams (Michele) San Ramon, CA; one sister: Jacqueline Williams-Stewart of Humble, TX; two half-sisters: Diane Randall of Atlanta, GA; Sandy Jordan (Robert) of Jackson, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Texas visitation for Mitchell Williams will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Rosewood Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mississippi visitation will be held Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Infinity Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, May 14, 2021 at Infinity Church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 14, 2021 in Biloxi, MS at Infinity Church at 11:00 a.m.
