Mirl Francis Brown, age 79, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.
Mirl was born on June 5, 1944 in Neoga, IL to the late Wilbur Brown and Helen Dallas Brown. He worked in the concrete business. Mirl loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Jo Davisson Brown, whom he married on June 13, 1987 in Greencastle, IN; one son, Robert Brown; one daughter, Lori Brown; three step daughters, Vicki Jolena, Kara Huffman and Ivy Adkins; two brothers, Kenneth Brown and Chester Brown; and one sister, Elizabeth Jackson; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, William Brown, Charlie Brown and Lowell Brown; and sister, Linda Mitchell.
A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
