Miriam Winn James, 74, of St. George, wife of Frank James, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at her residence.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Oakbrook Memorial Park, Greenwood, SC with Rev. Bert Welch officiating.
Miriam was born on September 14, 1946 in McCormick, a daughter of the late James Carroll and Geneva Ridlehoover Winn. She was a graduate of McCormick High School and Anderson Junior College. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and nursery worker. She loved her dogs, yardwork and talking and meeting new people. She was predeceased by Mary Ann Riley and her husband Melivin and Jean Preveaux.
Surviving is her husband, Frank James, St. George; a son, Steven C. (Jan) James, Port Orange, FL; a daughter, Frankie James (Noel) Painter, Deland, FL; grandchildren, Connor Painter, Aidan Painter, Hudson James and Finley James; sisters, Carolyn Jackson, Gail (Jimmy) Collier, Plum Branch, SC and Terry (Ira) Jones, Bogota, GA.
