Miriam J. Pelletier, 89, passed away at the Concord Hospital on December 31st, after a period of failing health. She was born in Plaistow on June 12th, 1931. She was the youngest child of John and Esther (Manchester) Welch. She grew up in Danville attending the local schools and the Sanborn Seminary School before settling in the Pembroke and Concord area.
Miriam was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She was employed by Notre Dame Hospital as a pediatric nurse and eventually moved on to nursing homes. She worked as a nurse in the Bangor Maine area and upon returning to NH finished her career at McKerley's Nursing Home. Once she retired from full time work, she went on to work part time as an aid for the Visiting Nurses Association.
In Pembroke she was active in the Parent Teachers Association as well as being a Cub Scout Den Mother in Pembroke and Bangor, ME. She was a devoted Daughter, Sister, Mom, Aunt and Grandmother.
Miriam was predeceased by her parents, her son Charles, Sisters Ruth Welch and Mae Roche and brother John Russell Welch. She is survived by her son Robert Pelletier Jr. and his wife Jan of Contoocook, a daughter Sharon Allaire and her husband Thomas of Chichester. She was Grandmother to Michael Pelletier, Rebecca Allaire, Jessica Pelletier Richardson and Danielle Pelletier. She was Great Grandmother to Emma and Sadie Pelletier and Griff, Stone, Elwyn, and Malcolm Richardson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews that stayed in touch with her until her passing.

Graveside Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 in Blossom Hill Cemetery, North State Street, Concord, NH at 12:00 PM.
