Mimi Lynne Marlowe (Lynne), 72, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Lynne was born on September 9, 1948 to Bill and June Robinson in McAllen, Texas. Following graduation from McAllen High School, Lynne went on to attend Pan American University.
After dating for four years and a long engagement, Lynne married John Wayne Marlowe on June 22, 1968. They moved to Corpus Christi for one year before settling in San Antonio.
Lynne and John had two children, Michael John (Mike) Marlowe and Michelle Marlowe Walsh. Lynne worked as a legal secretary for attorneys in Corpus Christi and San Antonio until Alzheimer's disease made that impossible in 2010.
Lynne is survived by her husband, John, children Mike (Bothell, WA) and Michelle (Austin), grandchildren Patrick Walsh and Marlowe Walsh and sister Lila Sue (Susie) McClendon. She was predeceased by her parents and sisters Patricia Werner and June (Bit) Lavender.
She was loved by many and will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. A funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, March 5 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North in San Antonio.
