Millie was born June 20, 1952, in Dublin, Georgia, daughter of the late Ferris Braswell and Martha Brantley Braswell. Millie spent her career serving our veterans at the Dublin, GA and Charleston, SC VA Medical Centers acting as the Chief of Prosthetics. She was loving, kind, and compassionate to all, but most especially to her family and friends. She was also a loving friend to all pets and quick to find the treat bag when they were around. Millie enjoyed all outdoor activities but most especially golf. She also enjoyed riding around on impromptu trips to try new restaurants, visit those out-of-the-way places most never take the time to see, and browse through shopping establishments to uncover the most unique and fitting gifts for people. Around the home Millie was a wonderful cook and seamstress, among other things, and shared her abundant skills and talents for the betterment of all. Millie will be remembered by all for her loving and cheerful demeanor, and continuous desire to help those around her.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, David Norris (Betty) of Goose Creek, South Carolina, Paul Norris (Larry Teachey) of Dallas, Texas; grandsons, Anthony Crisanto (Abby) of North Charleston, South Carolina, Nicholas Crisanto (Katie) of Norfolk, Virginia; sisters, Jean Cannon (Steve) of Sharpsburg, Georgia, Jane Wilkes (Wayne) of Dublin, Georgia and brother, Ben Morgan (Eileen) of Loganville, Georgia.
