Mildred Elkins

Mrs. Mildred Dean Elkins died peacefully at home on February 3, 2023, two weeks after her 95th birthday.

Mrs. Elkins is a member of Prospect United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville, GA.

She is survived by her sons, Keith (Shirlene) Elkins and James Elkins of Lawrenceville, GA; granddaughter, Kason Dean of Hoschton, GA; great grandchildren, Ryan and Lily Dean of Hoschton, GA. She is also survived by her sister, Avis Dean Shaw of Blairsville, GA, numerous nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Morris Elkins; parents, Aaron D., and Florence (O'Kelley) Dean; brothers, John Dean and Alvin Dean; and sister, Margaret Clack.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Keen officiating. Burial will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville.
