Mike Rausch, Sr.

Alvin Micheal "Mike" Rausch, Sr., 76, passed away on September 2, 2025 at his residence in Plantersville, MS. He was born on August 9, 1949 in Rexburg, Idaho to parents Alma Moses Rausch and Fawntella (Williams) Rausch. He had lived in Plantersville for the last 53 years. Before his retirement he owned his own welder/fabricator shop. Mike enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing cards, camping and watching old westerns on television. He loved spending time wtih his family.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 2 pm at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Nettleton, MS with Bro. Ben Johnson officiating. A private family burial will be in Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be prior to service time at the funeral home from 12-2 pm.

He is survived by 2 sons, Alvin Micheal Rausch II (Savannah), Lucas Justin Rausch, 3 daughters, Cynthia Ann White, Niki Knight (Spencer), Cindi Leigh Mink (Mike), 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several siblings and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 27 years LaWanda (McCormick) Rausch, four brothers and one sister.
