Our Son, Father, Brother, and friend, Michael Watkins passed away peacefully December 29th, after a brief illness, in the presence of his loving family and the Lord.
A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Michael used his service training to enjoy a successful lifelong career for the Cummings Corporation serving in every capacity from diesel mechanic to upper management.
Michael's family was his joy. He is survived by his sons, Justin Watkins, Mason (Mary Kaye) Watkins, Hayden Watkins and Granddaughter Mae; his parents, Norma (Mark) Keelean, Sisters, Christine and Barb, brother, Bill Crusan and their respective families. Also many nieces and nephews who adored him. Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Ken Crusan.
Michael was a talented artist, skilled armorer, enjoyed everything about the outdoors and possessed a fantastic sense of humor.
Lake City was always Michael's home at heart and his respite from a busy and demanding work like.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
