Michael Thomas Sherotski of St. Cloud passed away unexpectedly June 7, 2022, at the age of 60.
Michael was born to Edward and Esther Sherotski, in Philadelphia, on July 24, 1961. Michael joined the United States Marine Corp in 1981. It was there that Michael fell in love with serving his country. Michael was a corporal and rifleman during his time of service.
Michael met Tammy in 1988, and they married on May 26, 1990, making their home in St. Cloud, Florida. They celebrated 32 years of marriage together and raised two children. After his discharge from the military, he spent his career working as a skilled mechanic. Michael took pride in his work and could work on anything, given he had the right tools. Michael spent the last 20 years working as a mechanic at Walt Disney World.
Michael had many passions and hobbies in life, and always enjoyed getting to learn a new skill. Michael spent much of his time learning to scuba dive and becoming a Divemaster. He enjoyed exploring the depths of the ocean with the many friends he made through his diving community. Michael also enjoyed cooking and spent many hours in the kitchen, or outside with his cherished smoker. He was often seen cooking for the entire team at his job. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchild.
Michael is survived by his wife, Tammy Sherotski, and their two children, Devon Montague and her wife Donna and Michael Sherotski Jr. and his wife Kris; one grandchild, Caeden; his father, Edward Sherotski Jr. and wife Martha; brothers, Edward Sherotski, Charles Sherotski, Frederick Sherotski, and Joseph Sherotski; sisters, Esther Sherotski, Kathleen Jones, and Maragaret Dye; as well as extended family, friends, mentors, and coworkers he touched during his life, who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Esther (Johnson) Sherotski.
A memorial service will be held at the Osceola Memory Gardens, 3715 Pleasant Hill Rd Kissimmee, Florida on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 from 5pm-8pm.
