Michael Anthony Manigault died on April 13, 2020 at Montefiore Hospital, Bronx, New York. Graveside services were held on May 2, 2020 at Morning Glory Cemetery conducted by Rev. Dr. Carl L. Anderson.
Mr. Manigault was born on September 2, 1958 to Heddie Manigault Harris and Francis Nelson of Georgetown, SC. He was lovingly reared by his grandparents Ruby and Cyrus Manigault. He attended Howard High School in 1977, where his hobbies included football. He was also named as Best Dressed by his graduating class. Michael was united in marriage on September 2, 1981 to the former Miss Linda Gail Simmons. Their union was blessed with one son, Shaborne. Michael was a dedicated worker at the steel mill and was employed in construction as well. After moving to New York, NY, he attended God's Promises Baptist Church with his sister Richette.
Surviving are his sons, Shaborne Manigault, Brandon Burgess and Jakaree Johnson, all of Georgetown, SC, and Randall Gibson of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren, Shaborne Manigault, Jr., Ta'Cari Manigault, Tivonna Adams, and Nyzaria Adams, all of Georgetown, SC, Ziare Barrentine of South Carolina, Bre'Aisha Burgess, and Brandon Burgess, both of Myrtle Beach, SC. Services entrusted to Wilds Funeral Home, LLC.
