Michael D. Landis, 69, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at his home in Lake Ozark, Missouri.
He was born on October 11, 1951 to Dale Landis and Treva Landis Oldham in Burlington, Kansas.
Michael grew up in Topeka, Kansas, graduated from Holiday Junior High in 1966 and Shawnee Heights High School in 1969. He attended Kansas State University. He began working at Goodyear in 1971 and Butterkrust Bakery in 1977. He owned his own bread delivery company for over 20 years. He retired in 2009.
Mike was a car enthusiast, loved racing, fishing and boating. His biggest enjoyment was doing it all with his son Shane.
He is survived by his wife Rhonda, son Shane (Ashley), grandchildren Hudson and Ruby, his mother Treva Oldham, brother Chuck (Annie) and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father Dale, and step father Paul Oldham.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.
