West Lebanon, NH -- Michael L. Cole, age 62, of West Lebanon, NH died on February 4, 2021 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Born on July 18, 1958 in Lebanon, NH to Thomas and Mildred (Stanley) Cole, Mike grew up in North Pomfret, VT and graduated in 1977 from Woodstock High School.
Mike enlisted in the Army and was stationed at Fort Richardson, AK from 1981 to 1987. He then enlisted in the Army Reserve from 1990 to 1993. He was a member of the American Legion Guyer-Carignan Post #22.
Mike worked for The City of Lebanon from 1992 to the present. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator at the Lebanon Landfill for many years then transferred to the Waste Water Treatment Plant as a Utility Operator.
His greatest joy in life was his family, whether it was holidays, sporting events, or other family gatherings. He was a man of few words but through his kindness and generosity, you knew that's how he showed how much he cared. He was told on Christmas Day that he was going to be a great-grandpa and was very excited with the news and the new addition to the family. There are no words to express how much he is missed.
Mike was married to Linda W. (Bond) Cole on April 8th, 1995 in Lebanon NH. He is survived by his wife; two stepchildren, Raymond Wilson, Jr. and Christina Wilson (Robert Boisvert); three grandchildren, Desiree Boisvert, Alexis Boisvert, Kameron Wilson; mother, Mildred Cole; one sister, Sheila Birmingham; four brothers, Richard (Sue) Cole, Byron (Beth) Cole, Milan (Bea) Cole, William Cole; mother and father-in-law, Anita and Richard Brown; one brother-in-law, Brian (Margaret) Bond; two sisters-in-law, Doreen Moodie and Terri (Dan) Sanborn; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Mike was predeceased by his father, Thomas Cole, both maternal and paternal grandparents, and father-in-law, Stanley Bond.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring at the West Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
