CHAGNON, Michael J. Sr. (Jim) Of Fort Pierce, FL, formerly of Natick and Waltham. May 22, 2022. Husband of Catherine (DeSantis) Chagnon and the late Juanita E. (Harvey) Chagnon. Father of Michael Chagnon, Jr. (Carolyn) of Northport, FL, James Chagnon (Karen) of Gardner, Andrew Chagnon (Kim) of Natick, Patricia Wurts of Wareham, Michelle Charles (Al) of Braintree and Marianne Orent of Nashua, NH; brother of Raymond Chagnon (Barbara) of Falmouth and the Arthur (late Shirley), John (late Clare), Thomas (late Shirley), Paul (late Betsy) and William Chagnon; brother-in-law of Diane Chagnon; also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will honor and remember Jim's life by gathering for calling hours on Tuesday, June 28th from 4 to 7 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Route 20), WALTHAM and again on Wednesday morning where his funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
