Michael William Chadwick Sr., 78, passed away on Monday, June 27th, peacefully in his home with his wife of 42 years, Helene Chadwick, by his side and holding his hand. The oldest son in a family of seven siblings, he was born in Waltham, Massachusetts but spent most of his life in Manchester, New Hampshire. It was in Manchester that he met his wife and the family unit that would support him as he struggled with multiple sclerosis throughout most of his life. An outspoken man, he readily shared his opinions on those he loved (his wife, his children, the Red Sox, the Patriots, Tom Brady) and those he did not (Dan Marino, Drew Bledsoe, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump). He spent his days listening to classic R&B and Rock N Roll, watching his favorite TV shows like Taxi, The Golden Girls and Sanford & Son, or enjoying films featuring Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro. He knew the value that simple pleasures bring to life as he routinely sang little diddies to himself or spent afternoons playing Yahtzee or LCD games that challenged his strategic thinking. He is survived by his wife Helene, his sons Michael and Randy and his grandsons Jordan and Ezra, along with his brothers Paul and Jimmy. Services will be private for the family.
